On August 1, 2024, a report was published highlighting the actions of the Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa) in preventing matchfixing. It was found that providers were approaching their obligations in different ways, prompting the Ksa to launch a follow-up investigation. This investigation revealed that the analyses of these providers often do not meet the necessary legal standards. The Ksa therefore issued four warnings in response to this issue.

In early 2024, the Ksa issued extensive guidance to current providers of online sports betting through written communication.
